Gardeners silently scooping up dead branches from Monet's water lily pond, wrapped in evening mist. Even now, a hundred years after Monet's passing, they continue to devotedly tend the garden — this piece was painted with gratitude for all those who quietly support us from behind the scenes.

This piece depicts a gardener tending Monet's water lilies in Giverny, quietly caring for the garden in the glow of sunset — painted with gratitude for all those who support us from behind the scenes. The water lilies seem to watch over him like softly lit lights, evoking a warm sense of nostalgia.

Gardeners quietly at work to protect the water lily pond amid the morning mist. As the sun rises, the mist clears, and blue sky comes into view — a moment wrapped in the promise that everything is about to go well.

One work from a series depicting the gardener who has tended Claude Monet's water lily pond for a hundred years. Figure of the gardener, silently scooping up dead branches in the pale light enveloped by evening mist. With its calm, muted tones, this piece blends into any room and brings a sense of quiet peace.

In 2023, I visited the pond in Giverny, France — created by Claude Monet and the setting for his late series of water lily paintings. I was deeply moved by the sight of a gardener still faithfully tending the beautiful garden, a century after Monet's passing. Since then, I have continued painting a series dedicated to gardeners.

Monet spent his entire life living and painting along the banks of the Seine. This work depicts a gardener emerging in the evening glow, tending the water lily pond that leads to the Seine — the river Monet so dearly loved. The piece was exhibited at Viridia Artists Gallery in New York and received wide acclaim.

This garden was designed by Claude Monet himself, modeled after a Japanese garden, which he also tended as his own gardener. The painting portrays, in a more lyrical light, the beautiful figure of a gardener — a subject Monet himself never chose to paint.
